Each set comes with three (3) winning tickets, packed separately for your convenience! Convo me if you’d like a different quantity of winning tickets. For Bingo, account for roughly 2 – 3 cards per guest if you want to keep the fun going throughout the entire gift opening. You can limit the number of cards guests can receive, however it’s fun to allow guests to keep playing until all gifts have been opened. Or for a simpler way to use these, place one at each place setting for a fun, quick shower game!

Here’s how the game can work, although you’re free to make any variations on this:

1. Sheets and pens are at each placesetting (or are distributed) as guests arrive.

2. Guests fill sheets in BEFORE gifts are opened, putting whatever items they think the guest of honor will receive in the available spaces.

3. As gifts are opened, they cross off those spaces. When they have a full row, they declare “Bingo” and are awarded a scratch-off.

4. To keep the fun going throughout the entire gift opening, allow guests to keep playing if they get a losing ticket (depending on how many scratch-offs you have). The excitement builds as the game goes on.

5. To keep the excitement going, withhold the final winning ticket to the very last gift as a way to hold everyone’s attention at a large shower. The great thing about this is that you have something little to give every “winner” without having to hand out oodles of prizes!

I designed scratch-offs while planning a 120-person shower for a close friend. Without a huge budget to purchase prizes for every guest, I tried to come up with a creative and fun way to give every guest a little something, and a chance to win a larger prize. With every “Bingo” that was called, we handed guests a scratch-off ticket which offered a chance to win. The fun continued to escalate as guests got more and more “bingo” calls, and eagerly scratched off their tickets in hopes of winning. Guests said that it was the most fun they’d had at a shower in a long time, and it was a great way to keep them around until the bitter end of gift opening by holding back the final winning ticket until the final gift was opened. Even those guests who did not win a prize had a fun little keepsake from the shower. This is the perfect game idea for a large shower!
