The following is a long winded explanation of our little businesses’
process, don’t worry we won’t be testing (or will we).:
The process:
-Choose your favorite invitation/announcement/card and purchase.
-Once purchased, email us at bigdayinvitations [!at] yahoo.com with your high resolution photo(s) and the details (ie: names, event date, time, location, etc). If you like an invitation, but would prefer some design change (layout, extra photo, wording change), contact us before purchase and we will try to accommodate the request.
DONâ€T FORGET TO INCLUDE:
-Name(s) you would like on card
-Event Date
-Event Time
-Event Location
-High Resolution Photos
-Then the design magic happens. We will create your invitation within
48 hours of purchase/information collection (usually closer to 24
hours) and email a proof to you. Hopefully it will be perfect the first time and will be ready for use, but if you need a change we will edit the design until you are happy.
-When all of the proofing is complete we will email you a high resolution jpg file to begin use. Feel free to upload to upload to any invite site (Facebook/Evite) or order them through an online printer (some of our favorites are Costco (quick pick up times, good
quality)
More ideas on usage:
-Printing at home is a cheap and surprisingly easy alternative to professional printers. Laser printers are recommended but inkjet works also. Make sure to use a heavy cardstock. Consider using coordinating scrapbooking layered behind the invite.
-Printing locally is the fastest and easiest way to get your invites.
Costco is a great printer. You can order upload and order online and then pickup at your local warehouse. Make sure to select “Lustreâ€
when picking a finish. Costco has cheap prices and is rated amongst top printers.
